A quick one...

I was hidding some folders in my Mac OS X HD (no, not due to legal or decency issues) to improve the way my Documents are shown in the Dock Stacks... I came across this:

chflags hidden (folder)

with this you can accomplish the awesome feat of hidding a folder from the finder while retaining functionality. I know for sure because I hide a folder with a growl script I use from within iCal.

To undo the magic just change hidden fron unhidden.

On another note, I just watched "Futurama: into the green wild yonder". If you are a hardcore fan you will certainly enjoy it. Otherwise you might be better picking another movie...
